Based within the Station6 creative hub in Genval –  which is already hosting established players in the audiovisual industry such as Dame Blanche or new arrival Studio Redfrog – UFX Wallonie is starting its activities in the region and wishes to create new synergies, by opening up to networks and talent pool already in place in Wallonia.

“Strengthening our foothold in the Walloon region and within its growing audiovisual ecosystem is a strong strategic move for our studio. Thanks to this new structure, we are pursuing our development while affirming our proximity to producers, artists and partners in Wallonia,” explains Nora Berecoechea, CEO Umedia VFX.

The UFX Wallonie teams are already working on two feature films: Têtes Givrées by Stéphane Cazes with Clovis Cornillac produced by Bonne Pioche, in co-production with Umedia and Ducobu Président, directed by Elie Semoun produced by Les Films du Premier, Les films 24 for UGC, currently shooting in Belgium and also in co-production with Umedia. Both projects received the support of Wallimage.
